Youth Programs

Our youth initiatives give young residents the knowledge, mentorship, and civic tools they need to grow up safe, informed, and engaged.
Children and teenagers in Saint Joseph deserve to grow up in a community that actively protects them. Our Youth Programs combine safety education, mentorship, and community service to build awareness and resilience from an early age. We partner with local schools, churches, and community centers to reach young people where they already are.
Program Goals
Safety Awareness Education
Age-appropriate workshops that teach young residents how to recognize unsafe situations, understand boundaries, and report concerns to trusted adults.
Mentorship & Civic Responsibility
Pairing youth with community mentors who model civic engagement, accountability, and the importance of looking out for one another.
Community Service Projects
Hands-on neighborhood improvement and outreach projects that give young people a sense of ownership and pride in Saint Joseph.
Intergenerational Connection
Structured activities that bring youth together with senior residents, fostering mutual respect, shared stories, and cross-generational bonds.

Honoring and Protecting Our Elders
Our senior initiatives connect older residents with resources, community events, and the intergenerational relationships that keep them safe, supported, and valued.
Senior residents are among the most vulnerable members of our community — and among the most valuable. Our Senior Programs provide safety resources, social connection, and intergenerational programming that combats isolation and keeps older Saint Joseph residents informed and empowered. We believe every elder deserves to feel safe in their own neighborhood.
Program Goals
Safety Resource Access
Connecting seniors with up-to-date information about registered offenders in their area, emergency contacts, and neighborhood watch resources.
Social Connection & Anti-Isolation
Regular community gatherings, check-in programs, and group activities designed to reduce isolation and build a network of mutual support.
Intergenerational Mentorship
Pairing senior residents with youth participants to share life experience, wisdom, and community history — strengthening bonds across generations.
Emergency Preparedness
Workshops and printed guides that help seniors prepare for emergencies, know their neighbors, and stay connected to community alert systems.
